Sakurazaka46 steps into October 2026 with "Love MUST BE," a powerful and introspective single that challenges listeners to reflect on empathy, joy, and the interconnected nature of human emotion. Released as their 16th single, the song combines philosophical lyrics with energetic pop production, creating an anthemic quality that resonates across generations.

Written by lyricist Akimoto Yasushi, "Love MUST BE" explores the paradox of happiness—finding joy even while recognizing the world's suffering, and spreading compassion as a form of resistance against despair. The track's message centers on the idea that love naturally generates more love. The accompanying music video, directed by Katoh Hidejin, premiered on September 16, 2026, accumulating over 1.7 million views within days.
