Ryokuoushoku Shakai has released their sixth original album, Atamago, on September 9, 2026. The title concept reflects the band's creative vision: music born from their own thoughts, ideas, and emotions, transformed to take on a life of its own. Atamago represents a continuation of their signature approach where all four members contribute to songwriting, pushing their distinctive sound even further.
The album features 12 tracks, including six previously released songs and six brand-new compositions that showcase the band's versatility across diverse musical styles. Several tracks serve as theme songs for high-profile television and anime projects, demonstrating Ryokuoushoku Shakai's significance in Japan's multimedia landscape. The anime theme song "Riding the Wind" exemplifies the band's cinematic approach to composition.
