K/DA, the virtual K-pop group built around League of Legends champions, made a surprise comeback on October 19, 2026 with "Firestarter," their first new music since the 2020 EP "All Out." The animated music video, produced with Fortiche (the studio behind Arcane and the original "POP/STARS"), passed three million views within hours of launch.

For the comeback, (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and Soyeon return as the voices of Ahri and Akali, while Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb join the lineup as Evelynn and Kai'Sa. Choreography was handled by Sean Bankhead, with production by Kill Dave and Sebastien Najand.

The song keeps the group's signature bilingual formula, switching between English and Korean verses, and leads a new "Firestarter" EP set to follow on October 21.
