J-pop duo YOASOBI has released "Sakihokore (The Bloom)," the theme song for NHK's 115th morning drama series (asadora) "Blossom," digitally on October 14, 2026. The song was written by composer Ayase and sung by ikura, based on the novel "Hana no Inochi wa Fumetsu Nari" (The Life of a Flower Is Immortal) by Risa Wataya.

The song is deeply tied to the life of author Uno Chiyo, a native of Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, who served as the model for the drama's protagonist. Ayase, himself from Yamaguchi, personally visited her birthplace and related sites while writing the track.

An animated music video premiered the same day, directed by artist Ai Niina (who also directed YOASOBI's breakout "Yoru ni Kakeru") with Nobuhide Kariya. The full-color, watercolor-styled visual follows a young woman inspired by Uno's life as she moves forward through joy and sorrow.
